HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week worked between the hours of 8am and 6pm - 7.5 hours per day Mon to Thurs and 7 hours Friday

Search Consultancy are seeking an experienced IT Stores Person to work within the busy stores area of our client based in Glasgow City Centre. This position is on a temporary full time basis working dayshift hours Monday to Friday for an initial twelve week period. Genuine opportunity of a permanent position after a probationary period has been completed.

Main duties include management and control of access to IT equipment, assets etc including logging all asset management records.

The successful candidate would hold key holder responsibility for IT equipment storage / disposal areas, would be required to assist controller with the maintenance / upkeep of records logging all IT equipment moving in or out of IT storage areas and liaising with supply / disposal contractors as appropriate.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in an IT storage or asset management position, have good attention to detail, good understading of the IT environment and have strong and accurate numerical & data processing skills.

Candidates should also be comfortable working in a fast paced IT environment, be looking to settle in long term or permanent employment and have an enthusiastic, can do approach to their work.
