Avenue Recruitment Product Sales Executive Dunblane £18000 - £20000 per annum + Bonus
The main purpose of the role is to increase the number of hotels in the company's portfolio by acquiring additional contracts to market and promote new and existing hotels. You will relationship manage those hotels as directed ensuring retention of their business.
-Identify hotels which fit the key dimensions as described within the role and establish who the key decision makers are within those hotels.
-Create a profile of each hotel target including comprehensive knowledge of the geographic area and the demand for the location from our customers.
-Prepare a sales visit ensuring you are able to meet the decision maker or a representative with influence/authority over the decision making process
- Estimate the potential business generated for both parties
- Secure a meeting with sufficient time to establish a relationship and promote services
- Close Sale
- Negotiate the rates, contract and promotions
- Plan a robust follow-up process encompassing all options from the meeting
-Prepare detailed proposals
-Record, Monitor and Measure all sales activity in accordance with laid down company procedures
-Plan schedule account management calls reviewing performance availability rates and customer spend and anticipating their requirements
-Match current promotions with Hotels to optimise the marketing activity
The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in a sales and target driven environment. You will require to be focused on meeting sales and service targets and possess dynamic negotiating skills. You will have a professional manner and be confident in your abilities. A background in the hotel industry would be a distinct advantage.
