This is an exciting role with a good balance of BAU and change involved within a major bank. You will have exposure within the company at a high level and will need excellent stakeholder management skills.
Month-end Manage and facilitate the programme monthly reporting to key stakeholders within defined deadlines Ensure appropriate processes are in place to comply with all financial control, governance and group minimum standards Drive continuous improvement in reporting and processes
Business Support Support the Programme Office and Project Managers with all finance requirements Support the budgeting and forecasting process. Review and challenge assumptions monitor workstream budget allocations and spend against total sanctioned Programme funding Analyse and report costs using different optics, e.g. Business/IT, capex/revex, workstream Manage relationships with other key contacts - Group Risk, IT, Programme Board, Group Change Management Review business cases, highlighting risks and opportunities
Line Management Line management responsibility for two colleagues. Plan and allocate responsibilities and ensure equitable shares of workload. Identify areas for development ensuring relevant training is provided
Key Capabilities / Knowledge: Qualified accountant with relevant management experience Able to build strong relationships at various levels across the business Presentation skills: oral, written and graphical Ability to provide constructive and appropriate challenge Flexibility: comfortable working in a changing environment Willing to be hands on if required
