Job Description

What is the role? Responsible for the cleaning of the premises and the supervision of cleaners. To ensure the effective security of council buildings (schools) and their contents. Extra information: The Grade of this post is Grade 1 / Level 3, the hourly rate is from £7.60 to £8.31 and the annual salary is from £14,663 to £16,032 (Term time) (pro rata). This post is temporary for six months.


This post are considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
