Mechanical Engineer Glasgow   £24,000 + bonus + overtime (OTE £30k)

My client, an instantly recognisable, global manufacturer of niche products, is currently looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join their team in Prestwick.

A time served Mechanical Engineer, you are looking for a challenging role which offers a great deal of diversity, and the opportunity to learn new skills. 

Based in the workshop, this position involves stripping, repairing and fitting tooling equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and working with pneumatic machinery. 

This role offers an extremely generous salary and benefits package, 28 days’ holiday, and the opportunity to work as part of a successful team. 

Shift patters rotate between early (6am – 2pm), day (9am – 5.30pm), and back (2pm – 10.30pm), and change every three weeks.

On top of your £24,000 salary, you can expect a £3,000 shift allowance, up to £2,000 in bonuses per year (paid in May and November), and the opportunity to work overtime on Saturdays.
