Hudson’s client is looking to recruit a strong Financial modeller with good commercial financial knowledge.
The purpose of the role is to provide good quality analysis to support business decisions, it is not essential that you build the financial models, but that you know how to interpret them to look at trends, performance, pricing and appraisal information.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (although non qualified applicants with a strong statistical, mathematical or actuarial background will be considered). Your relationship building and influencing skills are important and you should be able to demonstrate a level of influence in a previous role.
You should have strong analytical skills, a demonstrable track record in utilising financial models, product knowledge gained in either an insurance or banking arena and commercial awareness.
