A large social housing provider is looking to recruit a Lead Surveyor to work within their Maintenance team on a temporary basis. The contract will run for at least 3 months but is likely to be extended on an ongoing basis.
You will lead a team of Maintenance Officers involved in delivering projects as part of an ongoing investment in a Scottish Housing Quality Standards initiative. You will monitor progress through design, tender and construction, ensuring all works are completed to the required standards outlined in the SHQS legislation.
To apply for this role you should be educated to a minimum of HND level or equivalent in a Building Surveying or a Construction related qualification. The ideal candidate will be fully degree qualified and chartered (MRICS). You should have proven experience in dealing with Scottish Housing Quality Standards and be capable of leading technical teams in the delivery of projects.
A full UK driving license is essential to be considered for the post as site visits will be an integral part of the role.
