The School of Creative and Cultural Industries is an ambitious, forward-looking school. With Skillset Media Academy Status and exciting plans for REF 2014, we are looking for an outstanding individual to join our team. The post will be based at our new £81m Ayr Campus.
As a result of rapid expansion, we have a vacancy for a Lecturer in Broadcasting to contribute teaching and research to this highly successful and dynamic area, with undergraduate programmes in Broadcast Production and postgraduate programmes in Creative Media Practice and Broadcast Journalism. The successful applicant will have a strong professional profile in Broadcast Production, and contribute to teaching and research in Broadcasting, with a focus on radio and audio practice.
The successful candidate will be educated to Masters or PhD level and /or have extensive industry experience, with experience of teaching and research in higher education. The post holder will provide leadership in an agreed area within our portfolio in Broadcast Production, which may include research supervision and knowledge transfer activity, teaching, student support and programme development.
