A leading Estates Management company is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a Fixed Term 18 Month Contract basis.
You will support the commercial team in the delivery of investment across a large, diverse property portfolio. The main responsibilities of the role include;
- Monitor and control the financial aspects of projects from initial forecast to final payment through the complete lifecycle.
- Measure, value, negotiate and agree valuations and final accounts to the maximum benefit of the company. Investigate and resolve contractual issues and disputes.
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Projects team in the setting and implementation of tender documentation, ensuring that respective requirements, conditions of contract and adequate contract details are established and adhered to on a mutually consistent whole life contract basis.
- Constantly challenge tendering and procurement strategy to maximise and improve business performance
To apply for this role you should be educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in Quantity Surveying. You should ideally have 3-5 years experience working within a PQS, Cost Consultancy or Client organisation delivering investment across a large and diverse property portfolio. You should have specific experience of producing bills of quantities and tender information. It is a requirement of the role to hold a valid UK Driving License.
