Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor this role will be within the Finance Department, assisting with the processing of invoices, payments and reconciliation of accounts.  You will be responsible for the processing and coding of a high volume of invoices (1200 at present), matching invoices to purchase orders, statement reconciliations and processing payment runs, and you will be responsible for liaison with other departments. 

 Essential

  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Clear, concise and methodical working style
  • Working knowledge of Sage line 100 or 200 is advantageous or experience of any other Sage packages
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills as the successful candidate will be expected to liaise directly with all Head Office departments.
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a changing and growing Finance department
