Due to our continued expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our busy accounting team based in our Head Office in Edinburgh.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

§  Assist with weekly sales & franchise fee invoicing

§  Daily reconciliation of all funds received into bank for Cash Generator Estate e.g.  debit cards, cash, cheques,

§  Assist in reconciling 3 cash books on a daily basis

§  Reconcile monthly marketing levy

§  Assist in reconciling statements and production of weekly statements

§  Administration duties as required within both Cheque Centre & Cash Generator Ltd

 

 

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:                                 

  • Previous experience of working within a finance team
  • Quality orientated – accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; accurately checking documentation.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and other teams throughout the Cheque Centre
  • Managing Work – effectively priorities workload ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Flexibility and adaptability – able to adapt well to change.
  • Self motivated – able to work on your own, staying focused and using your own initiative to make autonomous decisions.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good (intermediate) Microsoft Excel skills
  • Team player with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience of working with data bases would be advantageous but not essential

Technical Knowledge & Skills - proven track record of using Outlook, Word and Excel.
