HR Advisor Glasgow   £30000 - £31000 per annum + excellent benefits

Experience and qualifications
Essential Criteria;
*Full CIPD qualification with practical experience of working in a full generalist HR advisory capacity
*Evidence of managing the full range of ER issues to include experience of sickness absence improvement and the pro-active management of grievances
*Practical working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application in the workplace
*Displays a strong customer focus and customer service ethos
*Experience of working in an environment of change
*Experience of working in a multi-site organisation, managing different customer portfolios
*Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload and meet agreed targets/deadlines
*Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple customer requirements and cases simultaneously
*Ability to communicate clearly and to influence and persuade at all levels
*Ability to explain difficult HR issues in a clear, understandable and concise manner - verbally and in writing
*Self motivated with high standards and a drive to exceed customer expectations
*Experience in reviewing and improving HR policies and processes
*Takes ownership of problems/issues and is able to recommend sound commercially focused HR solutions
*IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages and the use of HR systems
*Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships
*Pro-active and pragmatic approach to problem solving
*Understands customer requirement and uses knowledge and initiative to reach sound decisions

Desirable Criteria
*Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre environment
*Displays an understanding of the HR Business Partnering model
*Experience of working on HR projects

Regular travel is required as part of this role.
