Cornerstone is a charity founded by Nick Baxter in 1980 in order to provide high quality services to adults with learning disabilities. Since then the organisation has expanded to support people with a variety of needs. Volunteers have become an integral and highly valued part of the services Cornerstone provides to people with disabilities and additional support needs.
As an Activity Enabler you would be planning, carrying out arts and crafts activities as well as supporting a group of people in taking part with the support staff. This role would also include purchasing materials for these activities and all actual expenses, including travel expenses, will be reimbursed. This opportunity is in Dalreoch, Levengrove Park and is weekly on a Tuesday morning 9.45am - 12.45pm
We will provide relevant training and regular support sessions for all volunteers.
