Hourly Rate - £11.83/hour based on 42.5 hours per week 8.00am - 5.00pm

The position is based in Rosyth.
KEY DUTIES
The use of inspection equipment e.g. venires, callipers etc
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Operating to very high Heath and Safety standards at all times
Ensure productivity and efficiency is of a continual high standard and schedules are met
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Ensuring product and process non conformance issues are accurately documented in the company System ensuring root cause analysis is conducted where appropriate and effective communication and follow up activities are maintained.
*Supporting the risk management processes by attending and contributing to FMEA team meetings, project risk reviews etc. as deemed necessary.
*Planning, executing and reporting Process Audits per defined requirements.
*Contributing to the ongoing effectiveness and accuracy of the calibration system and associated processes. Associated processes include but it is not limited to coordination of external calibration activities, gage R&R studies, database entry and equipment calibration.
*Ensuring all product and process related test verification/acceptance activities are conducted as per documented procedures and applicable ISO 9001 requirements. Any deviations from requirements shall be escalated and documented in the appropriate manner.
*Ensuring all Goods Inwards Inspection activities are conducted as per documented procedures and factors either potentially or actually negatively impacting the business are escalated to the appropriate persons in a timely and factual manner.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Have previous mechanical/visual inspection experience working in a quality focused organisation
Come from an engineering/mechanical background
Be a good team player and flexible
Be able to follow instructions, problem solve with the assistance of supervisor
Be highly compliant and be able to demonstrate working to processes
Be able to demonstrate a solid Health and Safety record and high concentration levels
Literate with Microsoft Word and Excel
Hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5pm (some degree of flexibility may be required) hourly pay rate is £11.83
