CAD Technician Glasgow   £13 - £18 per hour

My client, a public sector organisation require a CAD technician to join their organisation in the Glasgow office.

In this role you will be reporting to the Design Manager for the design and surveying of kitchens. You will also be expected to liaise with clients.

This role includes extracting appropriate information from architect's plans to design a suitable kitchen layout that meets the clients' requirements. You will need to produce accurate surveys of new build sites and existing properties.

Furthermore, you will be required to manage contracts and so a high level of confidence and communication skills are essential to manage relationships between clients, contractors, suppliers, architects, trades, etc.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience using CAD based software to create kitchen plans and 3D images quickly and efficiently. You will have a flexible approach to this role and have a proven track record in meeting deadlines.
