I am looking for an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join a well established Global Manufacturing organisation based in the Central Belt of Scotland. Due to internal promotion they are now looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Technician on a shift basis to ensure the smooth running of their production facility. Please note that these roles would be on a an ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintaining high Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards, carrying out all work in accordance with appropriate SHE systems
-Liaison with Process Technology personnel to ensure full understanding of key scale up issues and hazards identified during small-scale laboratory development.
-Maintaining appropriate QA standards (cGMP) by ensuring operation of manufacturing and cleaning SOP's and accurate recording of information required for batch records.
-Troubleshooting of manufacturing processes.
-Taking responsibility for writing plant documentation, from process instruction sheets (batch records) to operating procedures (SOP's).

Qualifications & Experience:

-Qualification in Chemistry related subject and/ or in process manufacturing
-Previous cGMP experience within a clean room environment
-Previous experience of shift working within small teams
