Project Manager- Solar & Wind

 APEX Development Ltd supplies and installs renewable systems, solar PV/thermal, biomass and ground source heat pumps. We are now expanding into the wind sector and we require a project manager to take on this challenging role within this fast growing market.

This is a totally new position within the company and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to not only to work within a new and exciting renewable company but also to develop and grow this area of the business.

The person will be primarily based at our office Strathaven but travel throughout Scotland will be expected. The right candidate will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of pre and post sale, survey, full design and installation of the turbines.

The successful candidate should ideally have a strong background within Electrical Engineering & Management, although we would consider the right applicant with experience from the Construction Industry who can show a good working knowledge of electrics.

Knowledge of renewable energy generation, electrical systems and grid connection process 
Project Management
Technical aspects, Design, Advising customers
Design management
Installation management
Dealing with MCS documentation
Health & Safety
Specification & supplier liaison

Customer liaison

The Project Managers requirements
Degree Qualified

Experience or construction industry / civil experience / technical understanding Knowledge of renewable energy technologies

Motivated and self driven
Full driving licence 

Salary -Negotiable
Car Allowance
