The Institute of Healthcare Associated Infection is seeking to recruit a highly experienced Institute Administrator to be based at the location of the Institute – Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock.
The Institute officially launched last year in September 2011. The post holder will be instrumental in maintaining and establishing procedures and processes in support of its effective operation; taking the administrative lead and playing an active role in day-to-day and future development. Good planning and organisational skills are therefore essential.
You should hold an HND in Office Administration (or equivalent subject) or be able to demonstrate a level of relevant experience commensurate with this level of qualification and will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office software, have experience of financial administrative management, and a good working knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of numeracy and accuracy. Ideally you will have a flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team environment.
This post is available on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2014.
