My Client who are a leading Organisation within their field have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join their existing team.

Overview of the Position
Manage the operation and maintenance of the site's electrical infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable delivery of power to all site activities.
Provide electrical design, installation and commissioning support to all projects to meet safety, operability, maintainability, and schedule and cost objectives.
Assist in the development of the site's electrical skills base to support existing equipment and exploit new technology. Understand relevant legislation and ensure compliance of statutory duties.
Appreciate the impact of high fault levels on the high voltage system.
Carry out high voltage phase checks.
Understand, prepare and issue relevant safety documents

You will receive day-to-day guidance from the Facilities Engineering Manager and necessary training on existing and new systems. You will be expected to deal with problem situations as they occur in addition to carrying out pro-active maintenance and ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed and updated. The successful employee will be required, and must be willing, to undertake training in line with the rest of the department.
You will be expected to communicate with engineers, managers and external vendors to resolve problems and to provide guidance to personnel within the Organisation.

Skills
The following skills are essential for this position:
·HV Authorised to work on 11kV networks to include safety, maintenance & upgrade activities.
·Project management experience.
·PLC experience (not necessary but advantageous).
·Be able to implement electrical maintenance programmes at the site.
·Ability to identify and remove single points of fail to improve effective plant reliability.
·Experience of electrical engineering software packages such as Amtech, computer maintenance management systems and popular drawings packages such as Autocad.

Qualifications/Experience
Candidates must have a degree in electrical engineering with relevant experience.


Benefits/Conditions of Employment
In these position candidates will work a 40 hour week, 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday.
