We currently have an excellent opportunity based in Ayr for an experienced Quality Inspector. These are full-time permanent positions with attractive rates of pay. You must also be willing to work overtime and be flexible with working hours as shift work may be required.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout manufacturing.
  • Operating and generation of programs for the CMM.
  • Involvement, participation and contribution to lean methodology and continuous improvement within the department and product teams.
  • Design equipment and processes to ensure continuous improvement of quality processes.
  • Work to all HSE guidelines and quality procedures.

    • The Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with CMM systems, operational and programming experience highly desirable.
  • Quality Inspection/Engineering experience within a precision machined or formed metal environment
  • HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline
  • Ability to follow closely written and verbal instructions as per company requirements
  • Competent computer user having experience with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
