This role is a varied one although predominantly sales focused. You will be required to sell e-mail marketing services, web design services as well as SEO and PPC. Although you will already have various sources of sales leads, you will also have to be confident in generating your own leads. Initially, this role will be solely telephone based, however in order to build and maintain established relationships you will then be meeting with your clients face to face to present to them. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate for this role has proven sales with account management experience.
With regards to the nature of the industry, in order to be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of both technical search knowledge (SEO & PPC) and you will have the interpersonal skill in order to sell their benefits. You will also have a good understanding of using Google Analytics. This position requires the post holder to have a natural drive to secure new business and to be extremely focused on targeting business' that will result in a successful sale.
