Management Accountant Aberdeen   £35000 - £45000 per annum

Duties are to include, but not restricted to:

1.To produce a monthly reporting package and ad-hoc reports for distribution to identified managers both within the plant and externally.

2.Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly and monthly estimates.

3.Review financial performance to establish and report deviations against budgets/standards/plans.

4.The financial control of inventory ensuring that value held in the general ledger is reconciled to and represented by valid physical pieces/work orders which are clean and current.

5.Ensure that all journal vouchers either raised personally or approved personally are valid and correct prior to input into the general ledger.

6.To continually review and recommend improvements to computer systems used to reduce through-put time and manual effort.

7.Other related activities as determined by the Financial Controller.

The Candidate requirements:

*Must be part/fully qualified, CIMA or ACCA preferred
*Degree qualified in accounting or finance or similar business related field plus 5 years related experience.
*SAP R3 exp
*2 years project accounting exp. on a multinational project.
Strong influencing and partnering skills
*Significant management/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or service environment. A thorough in depth knowledge of accounting principle and practices which would normally be demonstrated by professional qualifications or above average relevant experience.
