To contribute to the operation of the Income Management section, ensuring that recovery actions are in compliance with legislation and in accordance with council policy. Contribute to the collection of all the council's corporate debt including council tax arrears, current and former tenant rent arrears and sundry debts. Actions debt cases in accordance with procedures. Conduct interview with debtors by telephone and in person. Agree sustainable arrangements for payment. Ensure all appropriate action is taken prior to referring cases for court action/intervention.
