As the Telephone Development Manager in Linlithgow, you will lead your team of Telephone Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets. Although you will report to the Regional Sales Manager, you have full autonomy in executing the team’s sales and marketing plan. Your team is the lifeblood of your role and you will motivate, manage and direct each of your team members helping them to realise their potential. You will be in direct control of recruitment and retention. Using your knowledge of telephone selling you will maintain excellent relationships with key vendors and execute individual channel plans. Always striving for excellence, you will monitor and analyse team performance creating accurate and timely reports.
The successful candidate will be a proven telephone salesperson with experience of managing a telephone selling team. Your communications skills will be beyond excellent and you will thrive on developing and maintaining relationships. They require someone with creativity and an innovative outlook that will allow them to continuously evolve and challenge their team. It is expected that your understanding and delivery of financial targets is second to none and you will promote an environment of proactive selling within the team. Excellent knowledge of their products, services, suppliers and procedures is expected.
