6 Month Fixed Term Contract (Leading to Permanent)

Based: Stirlingshire

Salary: £Excellent Depending on Experience

My Client

My client is a leading Manufacturing organisation, an exciting opportunity has arose within their Marketing team for a Market Analyst to join them initially for a 6 month basis with the possibility to lead to permanent employment.

The Role

Based within a small Marketing department, you will work closely with the Senior Management team to provide them with market data on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. You will be required to source, manipulate, extract and report the data using Excel and PowerPoint.

Duties will include:

  • Provide information collection analysis & reporting functions to for -
  • Macro economics
  • Product supply & demand
  • Geographic markets
  • End-use/Customer/Channel segments/Value chain analysis
  • Project & product development analysis

  • Presentation Support for Commercial/Marketing functions
  • General support to Marketing Group
  • Marketing & Sales project analysis
  • Establish, maintain and communicate user friendly databases
  • Support Marketing and Sales Group in presentation preparation for
  • Customers
  • Internal use - for all departments

  • Provide a variety of other support services to Marketing function

    • To be considered for this position you must have the following background & skills:

  • Degree qualified candidate in a related field such as Marketing, Economics, Statistics or Finance is essential.
  • Previous experience within a similar Market Analyst position.
  • Advanced IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates should have exception numerical and analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate to a wide audience including Senior Management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
