 My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer who are undergoing an exciting period of investment and expansion. As part of this period of growth, they are looking to recruit a Planning Manager. Your role will be to manage the supply and planning process within the firm with the objective of  further developing them as a leader in their field.

  Reporting to the Supply Chain Director you shall have a wide and varied remit, but some specific tasks will include:   - the planning and execution of inventory strategies - the development of the operational planning process - the development of production planning routines - the management of NPI process through supply chain - the development of capacity planning tools   You will be a degree qualified ideally in engineering or business, and have strong systems knowledge (a good understanding of MRP / ERP systems). You will be an experienced manager of people, be capable of managing budgets, possess excellent communication skills  and have a proven track record in delivering a competitive advantage. A background in FMCG is preferred but not essential.
