DUTIES
To provide cost accounting function and financial knowledge to project and departmental managers within the site.
To support the business functions on the site, to ensure completion and development the monthly project and period close reporting procedures in line with site management and Corporate requirements and expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure best practice financial management systems of work, ensuring continuous improvement thinking is fostered and that the resulting levels of compliance are met.
Assist the Financial Manager in financial ownership of project cost accounting and the monthly period close.
Assist the cost accounting team in ensuring that business Project Managers are supported in the preparation of their monthly reports.
Actively participate and challenge results in the monthly Project Reviews
Be responsible for assisting the preparation and narrative of the monthly management flash slides.
Support the Finance Manager with regards site projects, cash flow forecasting and other information requirements and cover as required
Ensure finance Team development through participation in technical and professional training.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential requirements:
Costing/Management Accounting experience (E)
Strong system and spreadsheet skills (E)
Capable of prioritizing workload (E)
Sarbanes Oxley compliance experience (P)
Ability to communicate with Senior Managers and Non-Financial Managers (E)
