Excellent now opportunity for an experienced Accountant on an initial 12 month contract to join one of the UK's leading service organisation. The role will involve working with an established finance team based in Glasgow.
Ideally you will be qualified (2 years PQE) or with significant and proven experience at Financial / Management Accountant level.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the key responsibilities of the role are:
Month end - accruals, prepayments, journals
Balance Sheet - maintenance and reconciliation
Management Accounts - account preparation, report packs for group review
Budgeting & Forecasting - financial MI, performance analysis, variance analysis etc
Financial Controls - assist development of internal controls process
Projects - business process improvement, automation and efficiencies
This role require good eye for detail, high level time / organisational management and confidence to communicate key financials to senior staff.
