Title: Subsea Project Engineer
Staff: £45 - £55K
Main Purpose of the Job
Project Management and control of, and provision of technical input to subsea engineering and operational work scopes

Principle Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Participate in all aspects of planning, design, and production of engineering designs, documents and equipment, including project control such as cost control, scheduling, and conducting reviews and risk assessments.
Liaison with suppliers and the client to ensure requirements are achieved and issues are resolved.
Prepare design, manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Preparation, review and checking of drawings, analysis and calculations
Prepare operational and maintenance manuals and other project documentation
Prepare conceptual studies regarding relevant technical and operational topics
Assist with the preparation of proposals and undertake marketing activities in support of engineering and related product lines
Support engineering projects and equipment as required (may require offshore and overseas trips)

General
The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
Assist with any other duties as and when required.
Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.

Safety
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.

Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications and Training
HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent level of competence in an Engineering Discipline (E)
OPITO Approved Offshore Emergency training (P)

Experience Work
Experience as a Project Engineer, Subsea Engineer or other relevant role working on offshore or subsea projects (P)
Knowledge of Subsea Operations and Onshore Support (P)
Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles and related tooling (P)
Knowledge of Lifting and Handling Systems (P)
Knowledge hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanisms, structural steelwork, pressure vessels and pipework, and electrical power and control systems (P)

Experience Software
2D AutoCAD (E)
3D CAD Experience (P)
MathCAD (P)
Microsoft Word (E)
Microsoft Excel (E)
Microsoft Project or similar (P)
