Our Client not only supplies valves but offers service and repair; testing and performance monitoring; and valve management mainly to the oil & gas industry.

A Project Engineer is now required within the Aberdeen office to maximise company efficiency by interacting with both clients and internal staff with projects and production technical issues which may arise. The role will involve progressing purchase orders and internal work orders to maintain customer satisfaction and generation of client documentation requirements including production drawings.

Key responsibilities will include:

Review and generation of client documentation
Review all work orders prior to issue to production
Create a documentation list for each work order issued
Interact with all department on improvements or issues with both external and internal orders
Interaction with Client & Production
Keep in constant contact with the client on order progress both with improvements or any delays
Face to face client interaction to discuss project requirements
Produce monthly report for both client and internal staff or production
Generation of technical drawings
Generate GA drawings of each valve assembly issued to production
Generation of technical drawings for production both internal and subcontracted
Creation of internal drawing database

Applicants will ideally have experience with a valve distributor or manufacturing but those with mechanical engineering qualification and experience within the oil & gas industry will certainly be considered.
