We are seeking Central Services Payroll Assistant reporting to the Assistant Group Financial Controller. 

 

The overall responsibility of this role is to process accurately and on correct dates, the payroll for both casual and contracted team members for all Aurora Hotel properties using the computerised system and Sage.

 

Communication with both internal and external clients is absolutely essential to ensure General Managers of each property are fully aware of their forecasted and actual manning figures, all team members are processed whether new, existing or leavers and produce Inland Revenue figures as and when required together with close communication with Human Resources in relation to statistical information together with the monitoring of internal Manning KPIs .

 

Strong interpersonal skills are essential to liaise with all levels of the team and external bodies with a flexible and self motivating approach to working hours in line with the needs of the business.

 

The team of Central Services will be developed to assist in all areas of specialism; Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control ensuring flexibility within the team.

 

The candidate will have at least 3 years experience of Payroll within a large environment as currently there are approximately 500 team members on the payroll preferably within large 4 or 5 star hotels and exposure to a variety of hotel companies. 

 

Group Finance experience would be an advantage
