A care home offers an alternative home for a person who is unable to continue living at home safely.

We currently have 10 local authority homes in Fife, which are continuously staffed and provide meals, activities, help with personal care and daily living.

You will be required to undertake a range of personal care and domestic duties to support older people within a care home setting e.g. assisting with bathing, dressing and activities.

Good communication skills, an understanding of the needs of older people and the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team are essential.

Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland, in addition to which you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council.
