This is a fantastic opportunity. Our client is both highly commercial and a leading light in the charity/international charity sector with fabulous offices right in the heart of Edinburgh. This newly created role, titled Quality Assurance Manager, will report to a Finance Business Partner and will be responsible for designing and embedding a Quality Assurance review process across a portfolio of international projects. The main areas of focus are: to establish a robust Quality Assurance review process which is to be rolled out across the contract portfolio; design and implement a QA peer review process to deploy QA across global projects; evaluate financial and operational policies and control systems; act as a central point of contact for internal and external audit teams by seeking solutions to any outstanding issues raised. Key areas are therefore Quality Assurance, Audit Liaison, Risk Management, Process Improvement, Capacity Building, Project Management and Governance. Previous experience that would be valuable is: Minimum of 3 years experience in a QA/Internal Audit role for commercial contracts; experience of running internal audit programmes within a large organisation, experience of ISO 9001 accreditation, operating successfully in a complex organisation; project management qualification; EU or grant specific audit exposure; public sector or central government exposure. You do not need experience in all of these areas but the more you have the better.
