Your responsibilities will include providing high level training for trainees in the preparation, production and service of food to SVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 whilst delivering meals to primary school age pupils and a small bistro.  You will also provide high quality training and assessment opportunities and contribute to the operation of systems that ensure quality standards are met contractually and educationally.

With good knowledge of the Catering and Hospitality industry, particularly in the food preparation area, you should have a working knowledge of practices, processes and skills required to deliver quality training in the work environment.  Additionally you should have a basic knowledge of team dynamics required to deliver food to a high standard.

You should hold relevant professional chef qualifications at SCQF Level 7 or above, e.g. HNC, SVQ Level 3, Modern Apprenticeship, etc, together with significant relevant experience in the Catering and Hospitality area.  Additionally you must have a Food Hygiene Certificate and a current Driving Licence.
