Group Payroll Adminstrator Cumbernauld   £21,000 - 23,000

 My Client is looking for an experienced Group Payroll Adminstrator with a finance background to maintain and support their group payroll function and payroll accounting journals.

This role divides between Payroll Administration (60-70%) and Finance Assistant (30-40%) roles and will be based at their Cumbernauld Office. Therefore, candidates will require knowledge and experience in both functional areas. Key Duties below;

Payroll Adminstrator 60-70%)

• Work closely with all business units to gather payroll information and complete data entries for each unit.
• Ensure all pension details are correct and updated as and when required
• Key point of contact any payroll queries
• Review monthly payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounting
• Collect data for P11D and submit data when required
• Liaise with HR Department for all matters which require change

Finance Assistant (30-40%)

• Assist with the preparation of management accounts
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting
• Complete intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations

Key Experiences;

• Strong level of experience in Payroll and Finance Assistant roles is essential
• A payroll qualification would be advantageous
• Can operate effectively both within a team or stand alone
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
