Part Time (Job Share) - 18 hours per week - Monday to Friday (the stated salary has been pro rata'd) 3 hrs 36 mins per day to be worked in the afternoons from 1pm (flexi time available) Due to the impending restructuring of the Fire Service in Scotland, this post will be fixed term until 31 March 2013 or until the new Scottish Fire & Rescue Service structure is implemented. For your information, it will be recommended to the new Service that where the post continues in the new structure, and if the appointment was made within a competitive selection exercise, the post holder should be substantively appointed at that time. The successful postholder will work within a small team and will assist the Finance and Payroll Officer in ensuring that an efficient and effective financial support service is provided. The postholder must possess a relevant SVQ Level 2 e.g. Business, Administration and ideally previous experience in a similar role would be preferred.
Ability to calculate pay and expenses and input accurate pay information whilst working within tight timescales.
