QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR

LEADING GLOBAL COMPANY

We currently have an excellent opportunity based in Fife for an experienced Quality Inspector. This is a full-time permanent position with an excellent rate of pay.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Inspection of materials, parts and components using hand tools (verniers, gauges and calipers) and CMMs
  • Ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout manufacturing
  • Involvement, participation and contribution to continuous improvement projects
  • Raising and following up on non-conformances (NCRs)
  • Work to all HSE guidelines and quality procedures

    • The Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with CMM systems
  • Quality Inspection/Engineering experience within a precision machined or formed metal environment
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline
  • Ability to follow closely written and verbal instructions as per company requirements
  • Competent computer user having experience with Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
