The Head of Operations works closely with the Senior Management team to realise the ambitions of the business. You will manage the financial planning, strategy and operations for the business with direct line management responsibility for a wide and diverse team (12 reports). Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the contribution and the implementation of strategic plans, financial and administrative policies for the business
- Manage financial accounting and management information systems including annual accounts, budgets, project costings and income collection – including forecasting income/expenditure for input financial projections and plans
- Work closely with the Finance Director and develop the financial strategy for the business and provide leadership for project management activities
- Initiate, lead and manage change processes and projects; contribute to development of new initiatives sure financial control and growth
You will hold a professional accounting qualification or relevant honours degree / equivalent qualification with a minimum of 6 – 8 year’s broad, professional, management and administrative experience in a large complex environment. You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work with a high level of independence and initiative, but also provide leadership and team building within a team environment. Excellent change management and stakeholder management skills are essential and the successful candidate must be comfortable making day to day operational decisions which can impact on the wider business. This role requires an immediate start so to be considered for this role you must be available to start at short notice.
