Business Planning Analyst (Commercial Accountant) Stirling (Town)   £35K Circa + Excellent Benefits

Eden Scott's client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to join their commercial finance team in the position of Business Planning Analyst on an initial 12-14month contract.

Key responsibilities:

*Quarterly forecasting with rolling updates
*Liaising with sales department to prepare detailed analysis of spend, inventory volumes and profit margins.
*Preparation of P&L and variance analysis
*Monthly budgeting duties
*Maintenance of costing database with accurate pricing data of new products
*Month end reporting and analysis of the month and YTD activity
*Liaison with sales & marketing and commercial management with regard to performance and budget/forecast reviews

Candidate Requirements:

*Professional accountancy is essential - Full membership in either ACCA,CIMA or ICAS (or equivalent)
*Proven track record within a commercial finance environment
*Strong financial reporting and analysis skills essential
*Ability to liaise across divisions and with senior management
*Experience gained with a product driven industry preferred
*Advanced Excel skills

This is an initial 12-14 month contract to cover for an internal secondment, with a target start date of the beginning of September.
