Registers of Scotland is responsible for compiling and maintaining public registers relating to property and other legal documents. By maintaining and developing a stable and effective land registration system, we play a key role in the infrastructure that supports the Scottish economy and underpins the property market. One of our strategic objectives is to have a culture of continuous improvement that focuses on effectiveness and efficiency. Key to this for us is to make best use of ICT in our business activities. This includes the delivery of electronic services both in terms of the provision of information from our registers and the process of registering deeds and applications in the two Scottish property registers.
We are currently recruiting for several positions within our Software Development and IT Analytics teams, including a System Administrator. This provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated IT professional looking for a varied role to make a substantial contribution to our organisation.
As a System Administrator you will keep in top condition the various hardware and software systems used by members of the software development team. It will be essential for you to understand the team’s requirements and design, configure, and maintain the systems at their disposal. This is a multi-disciplined role, which would suit someone with solid experience in both software development and system administration.
