My leading national parcel distribution client are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their organisation on a permanent basis

Role description

The role, answering into the Service Centre Manager, will be responsible for the following:

• The planning and management of inbound and outbound activity

• Overseeing the courier delivery operation

• Service Centre customer care

• Bulk Catalogue Delivery Activities

• Ensuring that compliance is adhered to at all times

• Providing leadership and management of the team

• Providing hands on operational support when required

• To assist in overall business development and the achievement of business goals

• To conduct any necessary personnel/grievance procedures

• Other duties as required

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong numeracy and literacy

• A good working knowledge of spreadsheets

• First rate IT skills

• Experience of working within a parcels/distribution environment would be an advantage

• Supervisory experience would be an advantage

What's on offer

The salary for this position will be £20,000- £22,000 plus benefits and location allowance, dependent on experience.
