Brief job description: My Client, a Global business, supplies fans, rotary heat exchangers, compressors and gas cleaning equipment throughout the world to key industries including power generation, petrochemicals, steelmaking, mining and cement production. They now seek an experienced individual for the role of Aftermarket Technical Solutions Support Engineer.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to provide engineering support to technical sales engineers on technical solutions which utilise the Client’s products. The role will also require some proposals activity in fan and ancillary selection, costing and site visits to assist with tests and layout assessment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 2 years relevant experience or HND/HNC with 5 years sales experience in a similar role.  Competent computer literacy skills including good knowledge of using MS Office applications, with the ability to handle a number of complex projects simultaneously with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative are essential. Engineering experience on rotating equipment along with sales projects experience, tender preparation with engineered goods and technical solutions /customer support experience would be advantageous.
