Payroll Manager Glasgow   £13.50 - £16.00 per hour + TEMP TO PERM

Eden Scott's client is a public sector body based in the heart of Glasgow. Due to the Payroll manager perusing other interests an opportunity has opened for a Payroll Manager on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role will include;
Input of all payroll amendments
The correct application of statutory payments and deductions
Ensure operational controls are followed at all times in relation to payroll amendments The correct application of payments in line with appropriate terms and conditions
Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports
Ensure correct record keeping in respect of SMP, SSP, P45's, P46, Salary Sacrifice and other relevant documents
Maintain a pro-active approach to continuous improvement of finance and payroll processes and procedures

To be successful candidates will have a strong demonstrable background in Payroll either as a supervisor or as a manager. You will have strong payroll systems skills, ideally Ceridian and be a strong team player. Candidates will need to start working with our client by the end of August so short notice periods are essential.
