The closing date for this post is provisionally set at 2 September 2012. This may change and close early depending on applicant response levels You will be required to lead, deliver and develop the full range of services provided by the service includingmanaging and improving routine and reactionary services including roads maintenance, winter and emergency maintenance, street lighting and flood prevention, preparation and implementation of transportation and road safety policy, design and implementation of projects, structural engineering, development control advice and road construction consents. You will be accountable for the unit’s revenue and capital budgets, service planning, performance review, statutory responsibilities, staff development and delivery of all services in accordance with the agreed standards of the service and best value principles Assessment Centre will be held on 17th September 2012 and interviews will be 28th September 2012.
