Corporate Tax Senior Manager required for the busy and successful Scottish Tax practice of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants in Aberdeen.
This current opportunity has arisen due to the success and growth of the practice. As part of a 30 strong team, you will manage your own varied client portfolio, reporting directly to Directors/Partners. The teams' clients are primarily in the oil & gas industry, with a mix of upstream and service sector - including some esteemed brands. Your technical remit would involve compliance, audit of tax and ad-hoc consulting work, including tax due diligence and other projects. You would also support the local Partners and Directors in marketing, recruitment and office events, and would be involved in the development of junior staff. The role is based in the Aberdeen office, with occasional travel for client meetings, training courses etc.
Whether you are coming straight from the profession or from industry, you will have experience in a Senior Manager or equivalent role, be CA and/or CTA qualified, demonstrating strong project management and delivery skills. Experience of consulting projects is essential, and knowledge of the oil & gas industry would be useful. Applications are also welcome from highly graded Managers looking for their first step into a Senior Manager remit.
Salary £51,400-£80,000 depending on experiene + Car Allowance + Benefits (including relocation expenses if applicable). Exceptional training on offer combined with genuine opportunities for progression in an expanding tax practice.
