Qualified Financial Reporting Accountant-Contract Role Aberdeen   £38000 - £44000 per annum + dependent on experience

Eden Scott's client, one of the largest oilfield services companies, has a requirement for a Financial Reporting Accountant on a 3-6month fixed term contract basis. You will have carried out a similar role and have experience and knowledge of US GAAP accounting.

Your duties will include:
-To record the monthly reporting of accurate and timely financial data for company business in the UK, in accordance with financial reporting requirements.
-To support the UK Finance Manager as required on routine activities and ad-hoc special projects.
-To ensure the UK Operations teams are given meaningful and timely financial information, and advised on various operational finance issues.
-Involvement in standardising and consolidating financial reporting procedures and practices in the UK.
-Review and agree the UK operational product line intercompany activity, ensuring accurate and complete recording of revenue and profit.
-To assist with the provision of accurate and timely information to the UK tax and statutory accounting teams.

You will be professionally Qualified ( CA, ACCA or CIMA) and experienced in monthly management reporting.
