Robert Half is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to assist our client during a busy period on a Part Time basis between 20-30hrs per week. Based in Edinburgh city centre this company are a dynamic and growing commercial organisation who require temporary cover initially for a 3 month period.
As an Accountants Assistant you will report directly into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the processing and maintenance of all the transactional finance functions including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Payroll and Credit Control on a daily basis. These will be fairly low volumes but accuracy will be very important. During the month end process you will also be required to assist the FM with ad hoc reporting and analysis work and the need to be comfortable using Excel Spreadsheets to an advanced level. This exciting interim opportunity will be well suited to a candidate that has at least three years solid experience and can supply references from their former positions. You will need to be available to start immediately and commit to an initial contract of 3 months.
Salary & Benefits
This interim position in the heart of Edinburgh city centre will pay the successful candidate in the region of £8 to £10 per hour plus holiday benefits.
