Business Development Director Can be based anywhere £80,000 - £100,000 + Excellent Benefits and Bonus
Our client is a global consultancy firm working across a number of sectors, including financial services, utilities, engineering, hospitality and contact centres. Working with clients to develop outcome based solutions the organisation is able to lead on a range of complex projects to help clients to introduce highly differentiated services that create genuine competitive advantages through transformational change.
The company is looking to enhance its business development team. The Business Development Director will be responsible for the sale, design and leadership of large-scale, enterprise-level projects delivering agreed competitive advantage in the customer’s market place.
This is an early stage opportunity for an ambitious Senior Sales Manager / Director with a proven track record in the consultancy arena. The broad category of the offer is business transformation projects, learning teams engagements and e-services sales. A typical project will have fees in region of £250,000-£3,000,000 with the target market UK primary and global secondary. The successful applicant will join the organisations Senior Management team.
Candidates must be a skilled communicator at all levels. They must build trusting relationships with key contacts, with internal and external stakeholders and establish themselves as key contacts within the sectors of operation. The individual must be able to cope with a high degree of change within the business, and take the initiative (and the lead) as required. They must be a self-starter, confident and able to handle objections and setbacks positively. Previous experience of people-led (rather than technology or process) consultancy sales is essential.
Whilst the UK office is in Edinburgh this role could be home based anywhere in the UK.
