Job Title:        Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Market

Brief job description:  Our Global client, with numerous manufacturing and engineering divisions, now wishes to appoint a Regional Sales Manager within the Industrial After-Market Division where they will support the continued growth plans for Regional Sales & Service customer business via the Client Product Platforms. i.e. Industrial Seals or Bearings or Rotating Equipment or Mechanical Engineering

Key Tasks:       Grow the current Industrial Aftermarket business in the territory by both development of existing accounts and new customer acquisition.

                       

                        Win business by developing value propositions & solution based offers documenting the value using the Client Document Solutions Programme.

                       

Seek business opportunities by promotion and development of all platforms with Client’s authorised distributor network.

                        Co-ordinate local activities and information exchange with all other departmental functions/personnel within the Industrial Market – Regional Sales & Service and relevant related companies and divisions.

                        Responsible for monitoring major projects at designated accounts to ensure that client satisfaction, both End-user & Distributor, is consistently delivered and maximum benefit is obtained from up-selling potential.

                        Responsible for following the Client’s sales process and using applicable tools, processes and systems.

Experience:      Appropriate experience selling technical value based solutions to OEM’s and Direct End Users both direct and through authorised distributors.

                        Engineering and/or Business Management qualifications or equivalent.

Skills:               The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and technical and ability, advanced presentation skills, be creative and innovative as well as being customer focused and have forward planning skills. They will be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the Distribution or End User market would be an advantage.

Sound product knowledge covering at least one of the Client platforms is desirable i.e. Industrial Seals or Bearings or Linear product or Rotating Equipment or Mechanical Engineering

Attitude:           Flexibility and travel will be required.

                        Other personal qualities will include confidence, self-motivation, persistence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and disciplines.
