Avenue Recruitment Prinicipal Piping Designer Aberdeen   D.O.E

We are looking for a Senior/Principal Piping Designer with a minimum of 5 - 10 years Oil & Gas experience or strong Petrochem/Refinery experience. We are looking for the candidate to have AUTOPLANT 3D experience and AutoCAD experience.

Offshore Certification is preferred however not required.

We would prefer the candidate to have drilling experience however not essential.

Responsibilities:

Familiarisation with and full understanding of, overall project work-scope and project schedule.
Identification of outstanding interface engineering requirements through interface with project team and client.
Site survey to establish way forward with a view to completing interface engineering and detailed design.
Design development.
Detailed design on fast track basis.
As building as required, and input to project close out activities.
Maintaining or bettering project schedule.
Ensure compliance with relevant QA Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, where applicable.
Authorised to raise issues of quality, health, safety and environmental and to input to continuous quality improvement element.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum HNC in Mechanical/Instrumental/Electrical Engineering or Recognised Equivalent Training Course.
5 - 10 Years' Experience in Detailed Design using Auto CAD & Autoplant 3D.
Understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes & Standards.
